Dec. 2004 |
On
December 23, we finished laying the floors in the living room.
We celebrated by going out at night and buying our first (real)
Christmas tree. We named him "Hubert". Decorating
was so much fun, despite the exhaustion. It was the only object
in our living room and it looked amazing!
On
the 25th we hosted our first dinner party at our new house,
when Tom & Noreen came over for Christmas dinner. |
| Summer
2004 |
Altough
we celebrated our 1st (paper) anniversary at the LA Gift
Show, we did go away for a few days afterwards to celebrate.
We went camping in Arrowhead, it was amazingly beautiful.
Later
in the summer we took Dean up on his birthday gift to us:
a sunset flight over LA in his plane. How cool of a birthday
gift was that!! |

2003 |
We
went to home to the Netherlands for the holidays. Christmas
we spent with M's parents in Germany: snow, skiing, hiking,
and YUMMY foods!!!
New
Year's 2003-2004 we spent with Nicole in The Hague. Our
visit included showing Dave around a bit, catching up
with friends in the bar and having a wonderful New Year's
eve at Nicole's place.
