When it comes to baby showers for 2nd and following babies, there are 2 sides to the story: there is the group of people who believe that baby showers are celebrations of the pending arrival of a child. Their take is that every baby should be celebrated, no matter if it's the first, 2nd, or 3rd.

On the other side is the group of people who believe that baby showers are more to supply the parents with items to help out with the pending arrival of the baby, in which case the parents already have everything and a baby shower for a 2nd child is not necessary anymore.

Most my Mommy Friends (from The Valley Moms Social Club) happen to fall in the first category and my friends Amy, Laura, Pauline & Catie threw 6 of our mommies (including me) a babyMommy Group baby shower on November 8. Among the 6 pregnant mommies we are expecting 7 babies, so it was time for some celebrations.

The shower was a ladies-only afternoon tea at Laura's house. The girls did an amazing job in putting it all together and once again, I would like to say THANK YOU to all of them for making this a fun and festive afternoon. I am so blessed to have found this group of amazing friends.
