On Friday September 14, 2007 we had our "big" ultrasound at the hospital. The baby got measured, everything got checked and...we got confirmation that our Bula is indeed a boy! The did find out that I have a "marginal placenta previa", somthing that in 95% of the cases corrects itself and it this point is nothing to really worry about. I do have to come back in 10 weeks for a follow up to see if the placenta indeed has moved up to a safer position.

The perinatologist video taped part of the ultrasound for us. Turn up the volume on your computer as around 2:15 min. you'll be able to hear the heart beat. If you pay close attention, you'll be able to see his little heart beat as well. This is a large file (19 MB), so if your computer takes a little while to download, be patient, it's worth it if I may say so myself.
